Benzie Central High School

The Benzie Central Golf team traveled to East Tawas today play in our D3 regional at Red Hawke Golf Course, one of the toughest courses on the MHSAA schedule. ❤️🐾🤍⛳️ Our guys played OUTSTANDING! We went into the region ranked 10th out of 20. We finished the day 5th. 2 spots out of qualifying for the state tournament. The guys are a bit bummed. But we had one of our best days on our biggest stage yet. Leading the way was Trace Wenkel with an 85. Rowan Zickert shot a 90, Adam Coyne shot a 93. Mason Childs and Ryan Davidson shot 99 each. These scores may not be a PR by strait strokes but in terms of degree of difficult I would say most of the guys had one of, if not their best rounds. Hard Work and the right attitude pay off. Thank You to Dan Erfourth for all your help. From coaching to them up to covering practice when Varsity traveled.
